Arwen is the grande dame of the Duross pack, just like her mother, Mieke was.  She shares so many of her mother’s beautiful traits:  the ability to instantaneously relate to even the most difficult dogs and to retain her playfulness right into old age. She is almost 10years old and  often asks her young friend, Emma, to play with her. Just like her mother, Mieke, she also reprimands the youngsters if they get too boisterous or over excited. She is always eager to greet visitors to her home, but also has the fine sense, if anybody feels overwhelmed by her size, to give them space.
